Road to Success

I read this book once, which said “You grow older, but not necessarily wiser”. I met a lot of old people in my life, who were foolish, naive, narrow-minded and so on. If it’s one thing I’ve noticed, it’s that reading and writing really brings out the maturity and wisdom in all of us.

Anyhow, so I have grown to learn that success has a long way, but as long as you stay in track, you’ll eventually get there. I want you to do something for me. I want you picture a long, long street. Imagine it’s a hot sunny day. You’re standing on one end of the street and on the other end there’s a sign saying “success” . Now imagine yourself walking down the street. Are you not successful yet? Then you might be doing something wrong. I, personally, got lost in the way. I found some lovely flowers at the side of the street and got distracted. Slowly though, about 3 years later, I am close to finding my way back to the road. In fact, I think I may have found it already. The most important thing you need to get to the end, is happiness. If you’re happy you can achieve anything. Now, don’t forget, the road is long and the weather is hot. You’ve been walking for years, but if you stop, or turn back now, then all those years of walking will go to waste. All you have to do is keep walking; Success is just around the corner.
